  10. The DIREDIT.DOC file is formatted to be printed out  in 10-point type on 
  11. standard-size (11" X 8") paper by a (otherwise "dumb") printer capable of 
  12. underlining by doing a <CR> without a <LF> and overtyping the previous line - 
  13. almost all modern printers can do this. If you want to view the documentation  
  14. in an editor and/or TYPE it to the console, you will need to remove the 
  15. underlining, which can most easily be done with the aid of the MAKETXT 
  16. program. To use this program, simply enter "MAKETXT DIREDIT" (without the 
  17. quotes, of course). MAKETXT will read the .DOC file (which it expects to find 
  18. in the current directory) and write a second file called DIREDIT.TXT, which 
  19. can be edited or TYPEd without difficulty.
